The special edition pomade "The King" by Schmiere provides strong hold, has a milky-white color and has a sensual vanilla fragrance - childhood memories of the warm pudding on mother's stove or the delicious ice cream from the ice cream van are brought back to your mind. Its 4,7 fl.oz (140 ml) tin can is printed with a detail-loving signpainter design on a red background. Though this sweet pomade doesn't surprise with a hidden track, it does so with a hidden gimmick: a black Dunlop plectrum with a golden print awaits on the bottom of the can. Lovers of the art of greasing and rocking, face the inevitable and get this masterpiece!
Although not comparable in consistency to the caliber of a Murray's Superior, it gives a very good and reliable hold. The application is very good and together with the Schmiere soft it offers a strong style and a beautiful shine. In addition to petrolatum and castor oil, it does contain some chemicals, but it is pleasantly creamy and can be washed out quite well. As usual with Schmiere, this one is also "Made in Germany".
