Lockhart's Nevermore Matte Paste – erős tartású, matt hajpaszta 96 g

Lockhart's Nevermore Matte Paste is a strong-hold matte styling paste created for high texture, serious volume and reliable control. Its creamy consistency makes it easier to work through the hair, while still giving a firm, structured hold for modern matte hairstyles.

According to the manufacturer, Nevermore delivers firm/strong hold, a matte finish and high texture. It is not designed to add shine; it is made to give the hair structure, body and a drier, more natural-looking finish.

What does Lockhart's Nevermore do?

• Firm to strong hold: stable control for short to medium-length hair.
• Matte finish: a dry, natural look without greasy shine.
• High texture: ideal for piecey, modern and more characterful hairstyles.
• Creamy consistency: easier to distribute than many dry clays.
• Big volume: a great choice if your hair tends to fall flat.
• Recommended for damp hair: the manufacturer recommends starting with damp hair for best application.

Hold, texture and performance

The formula contains kaolin and bentonite, which help create a matte, textured and volume-focused result. PVP and sodium polyacrylate support the styling strength and hold, while the waxes help build a more stable structure in the hair. Rice bran oil adds a more conditioning character to the formula.

One of Nevermore's important characteristics is that it builds strength quickly in the hair: the more product you add, the stronger the hold becomes. For this reason, it is best not to overapply at once. Use small amounts and build the product gradually for the best result.

Scent: Nevermore fragrance

The Nevermore fragrance opens with a citrus-fruity character, then develops into a floral and earthy heart before settling into a warm, woody and amber-like base. It is a fresh, unusual and distinctive scent that fits the darker, stronger mood of the product.

• Top notes: lemon verbena, pineapple, bergamot
• Middle notes: rose, jasmine, orris, patchouli
• Base notes: sandalwood, oakmoss, amber, ambroxan, vanilla

Pro tip

Work small amounts of product into the hair at a time. Damp hair is recommended. Apply roughly two dime-sized scoops from back to front to ensure even coverage. Comb from front to back for more even distribution, then style accordingly.

The more product you add, the stronger the hold becomes, so build it up gradually. If you want maximum volume, blow drying can help create a higher and fuller result.

Who is it for?

Lockhart's Nevermore Matte Paste is a great choice for anyone who wants a matte, strong, highly textured and volume-focused hairstyle. It works especially well for crops, quiffs, messy styles, textured short hair and modern men's hairstyles where body and firm control matter.
